 Psalm 19:1-4, 8-9
Oh how the Lord loves us! What a beautiful life He has given us! What a beautiful task He has entrusted in our hands! Muy Bonita! The Lord and His great mercies have shown my small heart how to love big and love deep! The people thirst for the Lord and we are able to provide the Word to cure their thirst, we are the vessels to supply them with new life, with living water, with the breathe of God. My life in America, my life is nothing compared to the great love of the Lord. Laughter is everywhere, singing is everywhere, praise and worship is everywhere. In every language. Jesus lives is alive in each and every tongue. ALL are ABLE to love the Lord! America is so spoiled! We are so spoiled! And I am apart of that WE. The lord has shown so much gratitude, so much favor to us and all we want is MORE! More money, more success, more time, more sleep... Bigger, Better, Faster...more! We are so spoiled! i cry out because I cannot paint my house or because we don't have certain channels on our cable package. I hear kids say that they are "poor" because they cannot have the latest shoes, game console or $150 pair of jeans. Is anyone really listening to their/our words?! Is anyone really thinking before they speak; before they pray?! I KNOW that there is poverty, true poverty in our country. Please do not think that I am not aware of that. But we need to reach out to them, show them love. Our nation needs to desperately change their mindset. I need to change my mindset! I see these children who have next to nothing, but they are SO happy with what they have. They are SO content in their life! Lord, bless our nation with LESS! Let our nation know joy, true, deep down in the heart joy! Not just mere happiness in the new "whatever", but JOY! Beautiful, Beautiful JOY! And joy cannot be found in the things of man, but only in Your love, in Your precious blood. Lord, bless our church with less. Stripped down to the core, which is YOU! Shake us! Wake us up! We have so much by Your grace alone; but yet we can feel so little for You. Let us set our hearts to You Lord, to You and Your will. Thank You for the beautiful day we have had here. Thank You for every child, for every hair on their head, for every beat of their heart. Lord, let us reach these children in Your name and for Your kingdom. Thank You! Thank you for the unity of this small body of believers. Deepen our hearts for each other and for You Lord. We will love You together and we will gratefully serve You together. Gracias for opening my eyes and for opening my soul to You!
